East Region

Treasure Valley vs Big Bend – Facing off in a 4 game series over Mother’s Day weekend Big Bend would come out strong on Thursday scoring 28 runs to sweep the first double header and would split Sunday’s double header, taking the series 3-1. Austin Bunn would have a big day on Thursday collecting 4 hits (2 for home runs), scoring 5 times and driving in 7 runs.

Yakima vs Walla Walla – Yakima Valley would come out swinging in this 4 games series, pushing across 50 total runs on the weekend and earning the sweep. As strong as the offense was the Yak’s pitching was just as strong only allowing 4 total runs.

Spokane vs Wenatchee Valley – Spokane would look to extend their East Region leading record and their offense would show up in a big way, also putting up 50 runs over the weekend. Brock Bozett would have another big weekend for Spokane. Hitting in the leadoff spot, Bozett would collect 8 hits and score 8 times.

Blue Mountain vs Columbia Basin – This matchup would be highlighted by the starting pitching of Columbia Basin as every starter would earn a win this weekend to lead CBC to a series sweep. Starters for CBC would combine for 27.2 innings tallying 32 strikeouts.

South Region

Chemeketa vs Linn Benton – In a great matchup of South Region teams there would be a little bit of everything in this four game series. Linn Benton would come out of the weekend with a serious win, taking 3 out of 4 games. Linn Benton would win one game this weekend on a walk off home run by JJ Hoover, but to not let the offense hog all the spotlight Kian Hogan and Dylan Rush would combine for a no-hitter.

Clackamas vs Lane – Matching up for a double header on Saturday, Lane would come out on top taking both games and only allowing 1 run. Tyson Heinz would have a solid day at the plate with 6 hits, 1 home run and driving in 4 runs.

Umpqua vs Clackamas – Clackamas would continue their weekend with a double header against Umpqua, but would have a similar outcome as Umpqua would sweep the double header. Caleb Ruiz would throw 6 innings, striking out 6 and not allowing a run.

Mt Hood vs SWOCC – Facing off in a double header on Sunday Mt Hood would celebrate Mother’s Day with a sweep. Rikuu Nishida would get things rolling for Mt Hood in the lead off spot collecting 4 hits and scoring 4 times.

North Region

Everett vs Olympic – Everett would join both Yakima and Spokane with big offensive weekends to help lead them to a sweep of their four game series against Olympic. Everett would score 49 times, led by Luke Rohleder who would collect 7 hits and scoring 7 times from the leadoff spot. 

Edmonds vs Skagit – Edmonds pitching would come up big for the Tritons in their 4 game series against Skagit as they would throw 2 shutouts and lead the team to a sweep. Josh Latimer and Oliver Laufman both would pitch complete game shutouts with Latimer only allowing 4 hits and Laufman only allowing 2 hits and striking out 9. 

West Region

Pierce vs Lower Columbia – A tough matchup between two strong West Region teams did not disappoint. In the end LCC would take the series winning 3 out of 4 games. Spencer Andersen would start the weekend off strong for LCC going 6 innings and not allowing a run to earn the win.

Grays Harbor vs Tacoma – Tacoma would take on Grays Harbor in a 4 game series and would win all four games earning the sweep. Jared Engman would go 5 innings striking out 6 and not allowing a run to earn one of Tacoma’s victories on the weekend.

Green River vs Centralia – One of the toughest matchups of the weekend, that included multiple walkoffs, Centralia would get through the weekend with the sweep. Nolan Wasson and Hayden Wilson would be the two players helping Centralia earn their wins with walk offs.
