Who are some key returning position players and what do you hope to see from them this year?
Kazu Arashiro (OF), AJ Killion (C). Both guys are big bats for us and should provide leadership up the middle of the field defensively.
Who are your key returning pitchers and why?
Lucas Jarnagin (LHP), Trevor Hendrickson (RHP). These guys have experience and will eat up a lot of innings for us.
Do you have an incoming impact freshman or transfers that will help the team in 2023?
Cannon Close (Fr, RHP), Jaiden Balagtas (Fr, 3B), Sean Shaffer (Fr, UTL). Cannon will be our number 1 arm this year. Jaiden and Sean will be big factors for us offensively.
What was the focus and what things did you see from the team in the fall?
Our goal this fall was to change the culture. I think we are headed in the right direction.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
We move the West Region this year and hope to go out every weekend and show that we are for real.
