What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?
Consistency with my swing and approach at the plate, as well as improving my strength and size.
What are some goals you hope to reach in the next year or couple of years?
Help Ellensburg back to a state title and keep playing the game I love in college.
How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?
I started when I was five playing church league tee ball in North Carolina. My dad was our coach and I loved practicing and playing every week.
What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?
I love the challenge of the game. You need mental toughness to succeed and I feel like that’s a strength of mine.
Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?
My parents have always been my biggest motivators, but my coaches have been great in pushing me on the field.
If there is anything else about baseball you want to include or write about include it.
The game is something I really love and I hope I get to be involved in it for a very long time, whether I’m playing, or eventually coaching and instructing.
