This season has gone by so fast and for a lot of teams their seasons are done. It has been a great 2021 and I am so excited for 2022.

GNAC

In their first appearance in the NCAA National Championship Tournament, Northwest Nazarene will get to host the opening round as they enter the double elimination regional as the #2 seed. Western Oregon will join them in the regional as the #3 seed.

NWC

After winning the NWC Tournament, Pacific University will travel to Collegeville, Minnesota to play in the regional starting on the 27th.

CCC

Corban University’s season would come to an end with two losses in the NAIA Regionals. A great season for Corban as this was their first time earning a spot in the NAIA National Tournament. LC State is the last team left for the CCC and they begin play in the World Series on the 28th.

NWAC 

East Region

Walla Walla vs Blue Mountain – In a back and forth matchup both teams would take a game in each of the two double headers, resulting in a 2-2 series split. Hayden Groth would have a solid start for Blue Mountain going 6 innings, only allowing 1 run and striking out 6. Kialer Howell would have a strong game in Walla Walla’s victory on Sunday going 2-5 with a home run, driving in 4 runs.

Yakima vs Columbia Basin – In a matchup of two tough East Region competitors, it would be Yakima who would come out the strongest, sweeping the four game series. Tyler Frieders would be outstanding on the mound, going 8 innings, striking out 9 and only allowing 1 run in one of Yakimas 4 wins.

Wenatchee Valley vs Big Bend – Big Bend would come out strong in the 4 game series earning the sweep. Dylan Gardner would have a strong outing on the mound for Big Bend going 7 innings, striking out 11, and only allowing 1 run.

Treasure Valley vs Spokane – Spokane would lean on their starting pitchers to take 3 out of 4 to win the series. McKabe Cotrell would pitch a complete game striking out 18, Cameron Liss would pitch a complete game (7 Innings) striking out 16, and Joshua Tucker would strike out 10 in just 4 innings.

South Region

Mt Hood vs Chemeketa – Matching up for a double header on Friday, both teams would put up runs and come out with a 1-1 split. Greyson Hanowell would drive in 4 runs in Chemeketa’s win, while Jacob Cobb would drive in 4 runs of his own to help lead Mt Hood to their victory.

Lane vs Umpqua – A tale of two days as Lane would go on the road on Friday and sweep the double header, but Umpqua would respond by going on the road themselves to win Sunday’s double header. Caleb Ruiz would go 8 Innings only allowing 1 run and earning a win for Umpqua. Henry Proger would also have an outstanding outing going 9 innings, striking out 7 and not allowing a run to get one of Lane’s two wins.

Linn Benton vs SWOCC – Linn Benton would continue their strong play this season with a 4 game sweep. Cayden Delozier would have a big game for Linn Benton going 2-4 with a double and a triple, driving in 4 runs in one of Linn Benton’s victories.

North Region

Edmonds vs Bellevue – Two solid north teams would match up this weekend and it would be Edmonds that would come out on top taking 3 out of 4. Kaden Lewis would come in to pitch 6 innings in relief, only allowing 1 run to earn one of Edmonds 3 victories.

Olympic vs Skagit – Skagit would take the 4 game series, winning 3 out of 4. Trevor Cassell would pitch 7 innings in relief, striking out 8 and earning one of Skagit’s wins.

West Region

Lower Columbia World Series – LCC Red would come out strong to dominate game one but would fall behind early in game two. They would be able to take the lead and Red Team Coach Michael Callia would come in to close out the game and help red sweep blue to finish the LCC season.

Pierce vs Green River – Pierce would come out and dominate the weekend scoring 39 times while only allowing 6 runs. Riley Paulino would have a great outing going 8 Innings, striking out 5 and only allowing 1 run.
