South Region

Clackamas vs Linn Benton – Linn Benton, the top team in the South would take on Clackamas who would play some solid baseball all weekend long but in the end Linn Benton would do enough to sweep the four game series. Taylor Ott would have an outstanding outing for Linn Benton, going 8 innings, striking out 10 and only allowing 2 runs.

SWOCC vs Chemeketa – Facing off in a four game series Chemeketa would take the weekend winning 3 out of 4 games. Noah Juarez would have a solid weekend for Chemeketa collecting 6 hits, scoring 4 times and driving in 6 runs.

Lane vs Mt Hood – Another weekend with a great South Region matchup featured Lane and Mt Hood. Both teams would enter the weekend playing solid baseball but in the end it would be Lane that would win the series taking 3 of 4. Blake Crippen would pitch a complete game (7 innings) only allowing 1 unearned run, and Ernesto Lugo-Canchola would also throw a complete game (7 innings) not allowing a single run, both earning wins for Lane.

North Region

Olympic vs Bellevue – Olympic would look to pull some upsets over the weekend against Bellevue. They would get one but Bellevue would take the series winning the other 3 games. In one of the games on Friday Bellevue’s offense would come alive scoring 14 runs with 7 hitters having multi hit games.

Skagit vs Everett – Looking to take the top spot in the North Region by themselves, Everett would need to sweep the weekend and that is exactly what they did, taking all four games in the series. Brody Ponti would have a big day on Sunday collecting 7 hits, 5 coming in a single game to help power Everett.

East Region

Columbia Basin vs Spokane – In a matchup of the top two teams in the East it would be Spokane who would dominate the weekend, sweeping Columbia Basin in the four game series. Ryun Cross would have an outstanding start pitching a complete game shutout, only allowing 2 hits while striking out 15.

Wenatchee vs Blue Mountain – In a four game series Blue Mountain would earn a split on the first day but it would be Wenatchee Valley who would take the series winning 3 out of 4 games. Dalton Thomas would help lead Wenatchee with 9 hits, scoring 5 times and driving in 4.

Treasure Valley vs Yakima Valley – Yakima looked to rebound from a tough weekend last week, coming out strong taking 3 out of 4 from Treasure Valley. Payton Childers (Yakima) would go 5.1 innings, allowing only one run in his start.

Walla Walla vs Big Bend – Big Bend would enter the weekend on a 5 game winnings streak and they would extend that to 7 games with the double header sweep of Walla Walla. Zachary Valdez would collect 5 hits in the double header, scoring 4 times.

West Region

Green River vs LCC – A much improved Green River team looked to make their mark against the top team in the West Region, but Lower Columbia’s pitching would just be too much limiting the Gators to just 4 runs on the weekend. Griffin Henry, Michael Callia, Spencer Andersen, and Sam Stuhr would all set the tone for the weekend in each of their four starts.

Grays Harbor vs Centralia – Two of the most improved teams in the NWAC would face off with each other and both teams would each take a game in each of the double headers, ending the series tied 2-2. Tyler Garcia would pitch a complete game (7 Innings) only giving up 1 run to earn a win for Grays Harbor. For Centralia Joe Pierce and Matthew Obst would combine to throw a 7 inning no hitter.

Pierce vs Tacoma – Rounding out the NWAC coverage was a matchup of two teams very familiar with each other. Pierce would pitch a shutout in one of the games against Tacoma but the Titan would just be too much the rest of the series earning Tacoma the series win taking 3 of 4. Will Mulflur again would have a strong weekend collecting 8 hits including a home run.
