What things did you see from the team in the fall?
We loved the energy and work ethic of the group this fall. Our pitching staff really got after their development process and showed growth in the mental game along with their ability to command and execute pitches. We have a very athletic and physical position player group. We have the ability to impact the baseball and with our athleticism we can be a plus defensive team. Overall we liked the growth of our young team and look forward to an exciting spring.
What was the focus during the fall for the team?
Our focus was on controlling the controllable. Doing the little things right to show more consistency on the field of competition. We are really pleased with our defensive progression and overall team development this fall. We look forward to the spring season.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
We believe our group will compete at a high level this spring. We expect to be in the mix at the top of the GNAC conference and have high aspirations to making a post season run.
