Having missed out on making the NWAC Championship tourney the last couple years, Walla Walla looks to return to the championship contender level. With a young team Walla Walla has the chance to use 2021 as a jumping off point to make a run at a 2022 championship tourney run.

Key Returning Players
Kyren Morris (SS) & Tayeb Hubbard (2b) – Though limited in innings due to Covid last year, both of these players will bring program experience to a freshman heavy team. Defensively these two will anchor the middle of the field and will have a big impact on the teams success.
Nicholas Elkins -OF – A smooth hitting left handed hitter with pop and has shown a high ability to defend and steal bases as well. The coaching staff at Walla Walla is expecting big things this season from him.
Mike Ouwehand – LHP – A 6’8 sophomore returning pitcher recently committed to WSU. Ouwehand had limited innings on the mound last year due to Covid, but he has electric stuff and will be projected in the starting rotation this season.
Key Incoming Players
Walla Walla enters 2021 as a freshman dominant team and are very talented with this 2020 class of freshman. There are multiple guys that will be competing for opportunities and that will be making an impact in our season this year.
Dalton Jones & Kialer Howell are both highly talented two way players. Look for both to make an impact for Walla Walla on the mound and at the plate.
Hunter Polley is a local freshman who has made some really big jumps in ability and will be an impact guy in the Walla Walla pitching staff.
Expectations for 2021
“Rosters change, but our expectations stay the same here at Walla Walla CC and that’s to build the most talented, competitive and hard working program we can. Although this year has not been ideal and a struggle for everyone, we are excited for the opportunity to be back and to compete in a very competitive east region. Our goal is always to win as many games as possible along with developing and putting our guys in the best positions for success.” Head Coach Justin Speer
