1. Who was the season MVP?
Marc Audet had a great senior season. Chase Fetzer stepped up and filled a role on the mound for us that was needed. Really proud of the way those two finished their careers for us.
2. Who was your team Cy Young?
Ben Wills really developed as the year went on. Threw really well the second half of the year.
3. Any freshman or sophomores that stepped up to contribute this year.
Jeremy Sangalang and Ben Wills were both really impressive as true freshmen.
4. Juniors and/or seniors who stepped into leadership roles and had an impact on the team.
Audet and Fetzer as mentioned. Christopher Stone was a steady leader for our pitching staff.
5. What were some key moments in the season for you and the team?
Just thankful that we got the chance to play a full season safely. Really enjoyed watching our guys grow and get better.
6. Your biggest take away from the 2021 season.
Grateful for our University, administration, athletic training staff, and conference that we were able to put guidelines and policies in place to have a full baseball season. Glad we could get our young men back on the field and playing together.
7. The outlook for the 2022 season.
Lots of work to do. Excited about the future of our program and know that playing in the Northwest Conference will never be easy.
