What things did you see from the team in the fall?
Fall Ball was only 3 weeks long but it was productive and we packed a lot in a short period of time. We have good pitching and position player depth. If we stay healthy, we should have a chance to contend for another NWC championship. We competed well in team scrimmages and in our exhibition Double Header, outscoring Centralia CC 23-4 in two 9-inning games.
What was the focus during the fall for the team?
The main focus of the fall was to evaluate our players to see how much progress the returning players have made over the summer and assess the incoming players and how they will fit in with our culture and our team.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
We try not to put expectations on ourselves. Instead, we try to keep our focus on getting better every day. That said, I would expect the Boxers to be picked to finish in the top ½ of the Northwest Conference and possibly even start the season ranked in some of the National Polls.
