What things did you see from the team in the fall?
We saw tremendous progress from last fall in all ways. Played great defense, we have more potential contributors, improved depth, and improved competitiveness. Our returners are also much improved and have demonstrated good leadership.
What was the focus during the fall for the team?
Continuing to build our culture. We strive to be a championship program, that competes at a national level year to year. We will only accomplish that, by building and owning a championship culture that starts with our thoughts and behaviors.
What are the expectations and goals for the team entering the season?
Our goal is to build a championship culture, that is reflected by our daily decisions, habits, and thoughts. We expect to have 44 guys that carry themselves competitively, compete to improve, and take ownership in our program. Once we build and maintain that culture, our goal is to compete to win our conference and compete at a national level.
