1. What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?

For pitching, I’ve been working on a lot. Mostly mechanical things, but to be more specific I’m really working on hip fire so I gain more velocity.

2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?

I’m hoping that I get to go college. For my age and graduation year, I’m just trying to get looks. Nothing too specific.

3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?

I’ve been playing ball for as long as I can remember. It all started off playing whiffle ball in the backyard with my dad and I guess it really just started from there. I’m guessing it was about like 3 years old when I started, but my first actual season was probably when I was about 6-7 with tee ball.

4. What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?

My favorite thing about baseball is the competition. Just knowing that someone out there is better than you really makes you want to push yourself and just go out there and dominate.

5. Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?

Definitely my Grandpa. He always tries to help me out and always pushes me to do better. He’s always been there for me, he comes to about 90% of my games and is always there to cheer me on. He’s helped me to be a better baseball player and a better person in general. He’s the man I look up to, and he always has been and always will be.
