1. What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?
Lately I have really been working on just staying consistent at the plate as well as getting stronger. I’m in the weight room 6 days a week on a great strength program that has been paying off. For hitting I’ve just been working a lot on keeping my hands up and working thru the zone to drive the ball into gaps.
2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?
My main goal is to play college baseball in California, hopefully at Point Loma University. There are a lot of schools in California that I am interested in though. Some other goals I have is to make All State for 1A next year for my High School team and be all conference first team every year as well.
3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?
I’ve been playing baseball since I can remember. I got into the game playing wiffle ball in my yard in Magnolia when I was growing up.
4. What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?
I love the bond with teammates and coach’s that comes with it. I also love being able to play in the sun and play a game that teaches me patience and how to compete for hours at a time.
5. Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?
In my life I think I’ve been pushed the most by my grandpa Pops. He always used to take me to almost every practice from when I was 10 until I turned 16 and could drive myself. He would take me to hit balls whenever I wanted and always loved coaching and being around my teams as well.
