1. What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?

I’ve been focusing defensively on my delivery to the plate such at my release point, using my lower body more efficiently, and leadership skills in center field. Offensively I have been focusing on my mentality at the plate and my ability to put the ball in play where I want it to be. Before this season one of my goals was to have the highest average on the team and I did so by almost .100.

2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?

I would like to go as far in baseball as I can. I plan to go to college to play baseball whether that be a juco or four year school I haven’t decided yet. We’ll see how far I can go in the near future and the opportunities that arise.

3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?

I’ve been playing since I was four and my dad got me into the game. After a few years of playing I realized I was quite good at it and I should stick with it.

4. What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?

I love the mental aspect of the game. The fact that there is so many mental AND physical abilities necessary to succeed makes the appeal much greater to me. The bonds that I developed with teammates and coaches were also much greater than any other sport I’ve played.

5. Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?

My dad has definitely pushed me the hardest throughout the years and kept me going. Coaches such as Tony Wylie have really jump started my career and got me more focused and serious about the game.

6. If there is anything else about baseball you want to include or write about.

Along with football and basketball, baseball is very important to me. I strive to emulate the best in the game and become better than I was days or even hours ago. Throughout the years I’ve grown to love the game and will do anything to succeed in it.
