In 2018 and 2019 Spokane came out and put the entire NWAC on notice that they were a team to be reckoned with, as they placed 3rd in the NWAC Championship Tournament each year. With an extremely deep pitching staff and solid offense, 2020 was a year Spokane had a real shot at winning the NWAC title.

Expectations for 2021

“Obviously this has been a trying year for everyone around the NWAC and around the country.  We are extremely excited to be able to play this spring.  With everyone having their season cut short in 2020, I believe we will have unbelievable energy and excitement from all involved.  I’m sure there will be some set backs along the way as we all continue to deal with Covid-19, but there is a sense of relief and normalcy as we get ready to play this spring.  I don’t believe there will be a single coach, player, umpire or spectator who will be taking these games for granted.  I’m just so excited for these athletes and their families who will get a chance to see them compete again.” – Head Coach Bryon Winston
