Great Northwest Athletic Conference

Northwest Nazarene vs Montana State Billings – This weekend turned into an offensive explosion for Northwest Nazarene as they would put up 58 total runs in the four game sweep of Montana State Billings. Colton Moore (Northwest Nazarene) would lead the way putting 10 hits on the board in the series, including 2 home runs and scoring 11 runs and having 10 RBIs.

Western Oregon vs Central Washington – In a back and forth series WOU and CW ended up splitting the 4 game set. Shortstop Derek Maiben (WOU) would have a big weekend near the top of the lineup with 9 hits. The top of the lineup for CW would also set the table all weekend as Zach Berryman would collect 6 hits in the leadoff spot and Justin Hampson would add 7 hits in the 2-whole.

Northwest Conference

Linfield vs Puget Sound – Although scheduled for a four game series, Linfield and Puget Sound were only able to get in a double header on Saturday that they would end up splitting. Owen Shellhammer (PS) would go 7 innings, only giving up two runs to earn a win. In Linfield’s win four players would end up with multihit games, Mike Lavigne, Levi Horner-Villa, Wyatt Smith, and Cage Hardy, including home runs from Lavigne and Hardy.

Willamette vs George Fox – What a difference a day makes as George Fox would come out on Saturday and dominate the first two games of the series, followed by Willamette coming out Sunday and returning the favor to earn a split of the 4 game series. Luke Werkmeister-Martin had a solid weekend at the plate collecting at least one hit in each game, 6 total hits including 2 home runs. 

Pacific (Ore.) vs Pacific Lutheran – Another series that had each team control their own day Pacific (Ore.) would take the doubleheader on Saturday while Pacific Lutheran would come back to win the doubleheader on Sunday. Austin Gormley (PL) went yard twice on Sunday to help Pacific Lutheran get their two wins. While Chase Anderson (Pac) would collect 4 hits and score 2 runs on Saturday helping Pacific Ore. earn their two wins. 

Whtiman vs Lewis and Clark – Lewis and Clark would get on the field for their first action of the season and would take one of the two games on Saturday, but Whitman would win the weekend taking 3 games in the 4 game series. Ben Parker (Whitman) would have a big weekend going 9-17 with a home run and scoring 7 runs.

Cascade Collegiate Conference

College of Idaho vs Oregon Tech – In a tightly played four game set, where every game was won by no more than 2 runs, Oregon Tech and College of Idaho both walked away winning two games each. Austin Van Horn (College of Idaho) would have a big day on Sunday pitching 7 innings and earning the win, while also going 2-4 with a home run, a double and 3 RBIs to help his own cause.

Corban vs Eastern Oregon – In this four game series Corban traveled to Eastern Oregon and was able to return home with three victories. Zack Simon (Corban) came up big for the Warriors on Sunday, pitching 8 innings and only allowing 5 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 7. Estenio Sede (Corban) had 6 hits and scored 3 times in the series.
