1. What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?

Command is always something that I am trying to work on. Realizing that you can’t always blow a fastball right by a batter makes pitching a lot harder. Being able to pinpoint all of my pitches wherever I want is what will allow me to be successful at the higher level and that is the goal.

2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?

Playing at the next level is my biggest goal. I would love to play at the highest level that I am able to but Division 1 is my goal. Another goal of mine has always been gaining velocity. 90 mph before my junior highschool season is what I am working towards right now.

3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?

I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. What got me to start loving the game and wanting to compete with other great baseball players my age was when I played on the Bothell Cougars Select team when I was 10 years old.

4. What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?

I love the brotherhood that is created with baseball. The guys that I step onto the field with are some of my best friends and we would do anything for eachother. That bond isn’t created without baseball. Another thing I love about the game is the community that is built around baseball and the respect that all ball players have for eachother. It makes the game a lot more fun.

5. Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?

My dad has pushed me to be the best player I can be ever since I started playing baseball. He coached me for many years and when he isn’t coaching me he is supporting me.
