I’ve lately been focusing on staying short, hitting line drives, and taking the ball the other way. I tend to get big and sometimes on my swing, so I’ve just been working on it a lot this year.

2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?

My goal is to commit to a division 1 school in the next couple years. Hopefully I can get into my dream schools like Florida State, UCLA, LSU, Oregon state, Oregon, Washington, Gonzaga, and Washington State.

3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?

I’ve been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. I fell in love with the game the day I watched my Yankees win the 2009 World Series and my favorite player, Derek Jeter holding the commissioner’s trophy. That’s the day I knew that I have a future in this game and I wanted to hold that trophy one day as well.

If you want to play, you gotta love the game. Don’t go out on that field if you don’t have a passion.  I don’t care if you’re an amazing Athlete, You’ve got to mentally be strong in this game, cause if you’re not, you’re not going to succeed.
