1. What are some areas of your game that you have been focusing on lately to improve upon?
I’ve been focusing on hitting, trying to get better contact with the ball. I’ve also focused on pitching and trying to hit my spots, as well as locating my curveball.
2. What are some goals and dreams you hope to reach in the next couple of years?
My main goal is to get to a D3 or better school, which means I have to work very hard all the time. I want to try and major in criminal justice or some sort of police officer category.
3. How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?
I’ve been playing for 9 years, and what started it was the interest in the game, my uncle also went to college for baseball and I’ve always wanted to be like him.
4. What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?
Some of my favorite things about the game is the slowness of the game, it is not a quick game, if you need to slow down you can. Also the people and the coaches, the teammates who praise your success and the coaches who are there whenever you need them.
5. Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?
Definitely my dad, if told him my goals and he’s pushed me more than ever to reach those goals.
6. Additional thoughts.
I would be more than happy to be in tryouts for different teams, I love the competition at this age. I want be the best I can be, which means I have to surround my self with better people.
