Although I didn’t get to cover a lot of games in 2020 I did get the chance to cover the Shoreline Royals for a very rare game in November in the NW. It was an amazing day to finish my 2020 baseball coverage as the sun lit up the field and some of the sweetest uniforms for any travel ball team. Knowing that players hadn’t gotten the chance to play in months I wasn’t sure what to expect, but what I saw was talent and lots of it.

Key 2021 Class Players
Tameron Bellefuil – Bellefuil is a Ballard high school catcher and Centralia CC commit. A very athletic backstop, with a plus arm, glove and speed and will be one of the Royals leaders offensively too.
Key 2022 Class Players
Rece Allensworth – Allensworth is a RHP/OF from Ballard who runs his fastball up to 85mph and a wicked slider with 2600+ spin rate.
Gunnar Shiotani – Shiotani is a C/OF from Ballard who has a powerful swing from the right side and has one of the loudest barrels on the squad.
Zaid Flynn – Flynn is a RHP from Meadowdale who sits between 83-85mph with his fastball. He pounds the zone and has a 11-5 curveball he can throw for strikes or as a wipeout pitch.
Key 2023 Class Players
Logan Anderson – Anderson is a 6’3 RHP from Shorewood who flashed a 87mph fastball this winter. He will be fun to watch on the mound.
Lucas Christensen – Christensen is also a 6’3 LHP/OF from King’s who has big time pop and can easily hit balls out on any field.
Outlook for 2021

One third of the roster hasn’t even played one high school game so it’s a naturally talented, athletic and strong group who is hungry to compete and learn but it will still be a year of a lot of learning for most of them.
